We were thrilled at the opportunity to take part in a large scale rejuvenation of a historical property recently, located on the corner of Marine Parade and Salvado Road in Cottesloe. This restoration and refresh was orchestrated by Zorzi, a building company which specialises in luxury construction.
This residential project was hydraulically designed by CHD consultants, a familiar name for us all at Litas Mainstone, as we have worked closely with them several times before on similar successful projects. We knew early on that the scale of the house being renovated would be best suited to a ring main water system. It's not one that every plumber in Perth will work with, but it's one we're experienced with installing, as you can see at our Western Luxe project page. The beauty of the ring main system is that it allows water to be delivered instantly throughout an entire property. That means hot water, ready, as soon as you turn the tap.
But this wasn't the only special plumbing work being done on the property. Down in the basement, sewer and stormwater pumps and tanks were installed, all supplied by Allied Pumps. These pumps were used as part of a custom install, designed to cater for the large under croft garage that was constructed.
All in all, this was a fantastic project to be involved in, and it was a pleasure working with the excellent team at with Zorzi builders. We rose to the challenge of installing an industry-leading hot water system into a piece of Western Australian history that was finally getting the sprucing up it needed. This was a meaningful project for us all, and finding the best way forward to solve each challenge while preserving this unique historical property unique project was thoroughly enjoyable. We love what we do!
